Claire Tomlin named one of 2020 IFAC Fellows

Claire Tomlin has been named 2020 IFAC Fellow along with EECS faculty members Murat Arcak and Kameshwar Poolla.  The IFAC Fellow Award is given to “persons who have made outstanding and extraordinary contributions in the field of interest of IFAC, in the role as an Engineer/Scientist, Technical Leader, or Educator.” Claire was named for her contributions in “cyber-physical and hybrid systems with application to safety in autonomy and learning.”
