Prof. Claire Tomlin Elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences

Professor Claire Tomlin has been elected as a part of the 2019 American Academy of Arts and Sciences member class. She is recognized for her achievements in Computer Science, and her research focuses on building models to understand and organize complex systems, including networks of unmanned aerial vehicles and air traffic control.

The Academy was founded in 1780, and recognizes the outstanding achievements of scholars and leaders in academia, arts, business, government, and public affairs. The new class of more than 200 members will be inducted in October 2019, at a ceremony in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
